Trace is an adorable little hound mix boy.  He was born May 11, and at 5 months weighs almost 30 pounds.  His mother is a small redbone hound mix (Ruby) and dad must have been really cute, too.  Funny how he and his brothers (Toby and Flash) look nothing alike and none of them look like Mom.  Even though he has ‘hound genes,’ he’s much more at home in your lap or on the sofa than in the woods or the fields.  Yes, he’s a bit spoiled!

Trace is just getting to the age to seriously work on housebreaking.  He will happily stay in his crate, but he does still have accidents if left for too long.  This improves with age and persistence in training.

Trace plays well with his foster siblings, and he doesn’t understand why the silly cats won’t play with him.  He keeps asking them … but must not get an answer he likes.  He definitely needs a fenced yard to play safely in and a family who will work with training him, playing with him, and just loving him.  He is such a sweet boy … very easy to love!
