Hi … my name is Levi and here are some things you need to know about me:

Housebroken:  90% and working on it (tiny dog, tiny bladder = must go outside more often)

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: silly, happy, friendly

Energy level:  medium (he is a busy puppy)

Fenced yard required?:   DEFINITELY PREFERRED … he cannot be outside off-leash as he is wicked fast and does not come when called!

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES – he is working on and getting better every day

Obedience training:  NO … but working on it

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES … he does best with other dogs under 20 lbs

Social with cats: Has not been around cats but he would probably try to get them to play

Good with children:  Due to his small size, he will be better with children 10 and over who are more calm and respectful of him.

Cute does not even adequately describe this little wisp of a pup.  He had a home for a while but due to his owners’ health issues, they just could not continue to care for him.  And he can be a busy little handful … a happy, adorable, mischievous, sassy little handful.  He is doing great with his housebreaking as long as you do your part taking him outside.  And he seldom has an accident in his crate unless he has an upset tummy.  He is NOT, however, super cuddly.  He is all boy … and a busy boy at that … and he doesn’t have time to sit still in your lap.  He has places to go and things to do!  The level of cuteness makes it fun to just watch him.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Levi picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
