Q: "I can't foster or adopt right now ... so what can I do?"
A: Sponsor a particular pup or a specific rescue need.
We know that many of you love and appreciate our rescue efforts, but you just are not at a point where you can either foster for us or adopt from us. You can still make a significant difference in the lives of our fosters by becoming an All-American Mutt Rescue Sponsor.
You can either:
a) sponsor a particular pet - specifying that your donations be used specifically for needs of that one pet.
or
b) sponsor a specific rescue need - specifying that your donations be used specifically for any of the following needs: food, vaccinations, spay/neuter, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick treatments, treats and toys, other medical expenses.
Senior dogs tend to stay in rescue longer because people want to adopt puppies or younger dogs. You can sponsor a particular senior dog or just designate your sponsorship donation to go to the 'Super Senior Fund.'
Check out the web pages for some of our Seniors including Flash, Chessie, Kia, Tyson, and Patches ... and more
Special needs dogs also stay in rescue longer because it takes a very special adopter to deal with those 'special needs' which can range from medical issues, age-related issues, or behavior issues. Many of them require prescription food, one or more daily medications, and/or more frequent vet visits. You can sponsor a particular special needs dog or just designate your sponsorship donation to go to the 'Special Needs Fund.'
Check out the web pages for some of our special needs dogs including Alpha, Mango Grace, and Stanley. We also have others that are not currently posted on the site.
