Hi … my name is Jax and here are some things you need to know about me! Please read my bio, and if you think I might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete your adoption application online.
Jax is a very handsome dachshund boy. Picked up as a stray, no one ever came to claim him. When he first went in to ‘doggy jail,’ he was scared and he didn't trust anyone who tried to be nice to him. He was mad at the world. A very sweet and patient volunteer at ‘doggy jail’ saw through all his bluff and bluster and made it her mission to get him to trust her. Within a few days she could pick him up and carry him around and they were best buddies. Now this handsome boy just seems to love everybody. What a difference a little love can make in a life!
Jax is a typical doxie … busy, happy, loving, and playful. Doxie lovers get it and understand them. He really wants to love and be loved … forever. Could you be the person for Jax’s happily-ever-after?

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Jax picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
