When Amber met John and Gerri Leake, you could clearly see the love! So on Saturday, August 22, Amber moved to Richmond with her new family. Amber is a beautiful blonde cocker spaniel girl. She is probably around 3 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. She has had puppies previously (none came with her), and she has strong mothering instincts with all her foster siblings. She is a great 'mama dog' and tries to make sure everyone is behaving! Amber is great with dogs, will bark at the cats, and is good with children. She is medium-to-low energy and is relatively quiet. She is housebroken and is far happier stretched out on a pillow or in the Lazy Boy than in a crate. And now ... Amber's biggest wishes have come true ... she has a family of her very own.
