The beautiful senior princesses are now living happily with the Simon family in Halifax.  Lucky, lucky girls!

Important things you need to know about how wonderful Thelma and Louise are:

Approximate age/birthdate:  8-9 years old

Weight/size: Thelma is 12 lbs and Louise is 16 lbs

Housebroken:  mostly ... but need to pay close attention to the body language ... they do not bark to go out

Crate trained:  yes

Personality:  These girls LOVE everybody.  They are happy, smiling, tail-wagging 100% of the time they are awake!  Love to be held and cuddled.

Energy level:  low

Fenced yard required:  They do love to get outside and sunbathe and watch the world go by.  In a moderate to high traffic area, a fenced yard would be best.  In a more rural area, they would probably not leave the porch/yard area.

Leash walk:  yes

Obedience training:  none

Riding in vehicles:  love to go anywhere you are going

Spayed/neutered:  will be Aug 4

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:  will be Aug 4

Microchipped:  NO

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES

Good with children:  children over 8 years

Adoption fee:  $250 - this fee is for the two of them together

Other important information:  These girls came to us together and they really need to stay together.  They are so dependent on each other that one would grieve without the other.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the ladies pick you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
