Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  Will watch the cats but doesn’t really react to them

Good with children:  Hasn’t been around children in her foster home but she would probably be fine with calm, respectful older children.

Laney is just the sweetest little girl.  She is all things good about terriers … she is adorable, she is loving, she is always happy, she is very smart and she listens well.  She is always there to show you she’s happy to see you, but she is perfectly content curled up on the sofa or sunbathing in the yard.  She loves people, gets along well with all her foster siblings, but she’s fine being left alone just to chill!  She’s very quiet … not at all yappy.  If she gets overwhelmed by too much activity around her, she will just go off to a quiet corner and watch quietly until things calm down. 

Laney will do well with a moderately active family who will include her in family activities.  She will thrive in an environment where she gets plenty of love and attention!  That will be so easy because she is a joy to be around.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Laney picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
