Personality:  a little timid, sweet, low key

Energy level:  medium to low

Fenced yard required?:   YES – although she doesn’t care to spend a lot of time outside, a fenced yard is definitely preferred for her safety

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  No

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  Has ignored the cats in her foster home

Good with children:  Older, respectful children only.  She will not do well in an active, loud household, especially one with small children.

Tiny is all the good things about Doxies and more.  She is very low key and even a bit timid with new people and changes in her life.  She adjusts quickly but she does not enjoy lots of noise and activity around her.  She will be so happy in a quiet, settled household with someone who is happy to give her a lap to snuggle in.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Tiny picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
