Weight/size:  35 lbs, will probably top out around 40 lbs

Housebroken:  So far no accidents in house

Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  sweet, happy, playful, loving

Energy level:  medium

Fenced yard required?: YES – she needs room to run and play off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  No – but she is very much a people-pleaser so she will train easily

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK – a little anxious at first but settles quickly     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  Barks at the cats and would chase if they ran from her

Good with children: Hasn’t been around children in foster home but she is very gentle and friendly so she would probably be fine with older children.

Olivia is just a beautiful, sweet girl with the most amazing personality!  She is a young hound mix who truly believes she is a lap dog.  She just absolutely adores people and wants to be with you all the time.  She loves to play, but she also has really nice, calm house manners.  She is just beautiful.  Those big brown eyes and long, floppy ears are just about irresistible!  She will be a great addition to the right family … the one that will love her and make her a true family member.  She IS an inside girl and has no interest in living outside.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Olivia picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
