Saturday, May 3 was a Happy Tails Day for Onyx. He was adopted by Mike and Marian Monroe and here's what we heard from them the following day: "Onyx seems to be doing very well. He was a bit nervous in the car coming home yesterday. He sniffed around when he first arrived here yesterday. He loves our back deck. He would run back and forth when the bass boats would zoom by. He has been a very good boy!! He went in his crate about 9:30 and slept very soundly until about 6:30 this morning. We were worried that he would have a bit of separation anxiety, but he was fine. He followed me around all morning. Went on three big walks to the SML Community Park which is at the end of our street. He loves to "bite" the little waves as they come in and has waded into the water a few times. He is now in his crate, fast asleep. He had a very busy day. He seems very comfortable with us today. Was wrestling with Mike on the floor tonight. He is just so loving. I feel like we made a very good decision having Onyx come to live with us. We just love him already. Thank you for helping to make him a wonderful member of our family. Mike and Marian Monroe"
