Good with children: Would probably be fine with older, respectful children

Lila Rose is just about the sweetest little poodle girl you would ever want to meet.  We don’t know anything about her background other than that she is a senior lady picked up as a stray.  She is probably around 12 years old and she does have some heart issues (which is very typical for senior poodles).  She is now taking one very inexpensive daily medication and is doing well.  She shows no outward signs of feeling bad … she’s very active and she LOVES people!  We just can’t imagine why someone wasn’t searching high and low for this sweet girl!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Lila Rose picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
