Housebroken:  about 90% (but he does tinkle a little when he gets scared or excited)

Personality:  a little shy, sweet, playful

Energy level:  medium with bursts of high

Fenced yard required?:   YES … he loves to get outside and snoop around

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  None

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES … He is intimidated by larger dogs, but will play with dogs similar to his size

Social with cats: Has not been around cats in foster care

Good with children:  We think he would be fine with older, respectful children

What a cutie!  A cream color bundle of wiggles with a few dapples of red!  He is a super good little boy and was surrendered by his previous owner due to the person’s health issues.  Tanner was much-loved, and his family believed it was in his best interest to be re-homed.  It was hard for them to surrender him, but they love him enough to want what is best for him.

At first meeting, Tanner is cute and wiggly, but a little reserved.  He comes out of his shell quickly … and then you meet just the sweetest lovebug ever.  He LOVES to give kisses, too.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Tanner picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
