Lucy (formerly known as Skye) had an amazing day on Sunday March 1, 2020.  She got her new forever family AND she was reunited with her real littermate/sister, Addy.  Oh Mom and Dad ... things are going to be different now with two little girls running around!  Both girls are blessed.

Skye! Skye! Skye! Can you tell by her pictures that she is a wild child?  She is just the cutest pup with personality plus!  She is outgoing, loves people, loves attention, is a dedicated watchdog, is curious and a little daredevil, and she is ready to find a new person to love her forever!  Could that person be you??

Approximate age/birthdate:  ~mid October 2019

Weight/size: 

Housebroken:  Working on it.  Does well with potty pads inside.

Crate trained:  YES but will still have accidents in the crate if not taken out often

Personality: happy, wiggly, snuggly, busy, social

Energy level:  typical puppy … goes from zoomies to sound asleep in the blink of an eye

Fenced yard required?:  Definitely preferred because she has always had one.  She should never be outside a fenced area off-leash.

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners: Learning (and improving daily)

Obedience training:  Not yet

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES (may be a bit busy for older pets)

Social with cats:  Has not been around cats in foster care but would probably be curious about them

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  Her small size and young age does not make her a good match for younger children.

Adoption donation: $250

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Skye picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
