Andy is a “people puppy” and wants to be with you whenever possible. Even when he’s sleeping, he’s on guard to see what you are doing, and if it can involve him!
Andy is very agreeable, and quickly forms attachments to those who show him love and kindness. Although he has some puppy mischievousness, he responds quickly to redirection. He enjoys interacting with all dogs he encounters, as you can never have enough playmates or toys!
Andy knows his name, and will come when called. He will stay within your sight even when off leash, but will be happiest in a home with a fenced in yard and someone to leash walk him daily to explore his neighborhood.
Andy will need human and animal companions to thrive since he is such a social creature. His potty habits are being tweaked, but he seems to do well as long as his humans remember to take him out often.
If you think Andy might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.
